The Breton Shirt
Posted on November 07 2018

In 1858, the French Navy in Brittany received a new uniform which included the Breton Shirt. A navy and white long sleeved shirt with 21 stripes, each stripe representing a naval victory over the British. Since its origins the Breton Shirt has become a classic, from Chanel to Picasso this shirt continues to appear in popular culture.
Our version, a cotton and linen mix, is made by famed French company, Armor Lux, making Breton shirts since 1938.
Unisex sizing.
Complete the look with our winter espadrilles by Papat.
