Espadrilles - Made in France
Posted on July 24 2019
Our shoe of choice for summer and beyond is unquestionably the classic French espadrille.
Comfortable, chic, and totally addictive, espadrilles have been worn by both men and women for hundreds of years. With a canvas upper stitched by hand to a woven jute base, simple espadrilles have remained both a constant closet staple and an annual tradition.
Made in the south of France, our traditional espadrilles are available in classic red, everyday navy, neutral cream stripes, and the stylish original black and white lace-ups favored by Picasso.
As every French person knows, a new pair of espadrilles must be extremely (some may say uncomfortably) tight, for within a few hours of wear, they will have stretched to fit perfectly.
Warning: you might not be able to stop at just one pair.
