Italian Villas Still Available for Rent in August

Wild rosemary, ancient olive trees, terracotta roof tiles, gelato, pizza, pasta... There is still a month of summer left, and we have been daydreaming about a last minute trip to Italy.
A (relatively) quick perusal of airbnb proved that there are a lot of great houses still available for rent in Italy this summer.
Even if we don't end up making the trip this year, just looking at these beautiful homes and knowing they are out there waiting for someone (maybe you?) gave us hope for the future and unexpected possibilities. Here are a few of our favorite villas and farmhouses still available to rent this month. Hope they make you feel as relaxed and inspired as they did us.
